All-New Eatery Opens For Business In Scarsdale: Here's Where

If you're looking to try a new restaurant with some unique cuisine, a new establishment in Westchester may be a good option.

LEMAK Malaysian, located in Scarsdale at 62 Garth Rd., is open for business as of Friday, Jan. 19, according to the eatery's website. 

The restaurant is now serving up authentic Malaysian cuisine. The menu is split up into soups and salads, small plates, nasi (rice), noodle soup bar, and specialty entrees, in addition to drinks and desserts. 

Examples of each category include: 

Small Plates: 

  • Roti Canai, which is pan-fried flatbread served with a creamy coconut chicken curry.

Nasi: 

  • Nasi lemak, served with coconut rice, aromatic herbs, sambal, a hard-boiled egg, and cucumber;
  • Yang Chow fried rice, served with egg, shrimp, and chicken.

Noodle Soup Bar:

  • Wonton noodle soup, served with egg noodles, shrimp, and chicken dumplings with bok choy and pulled chicken;
  • Pad Thai, served with prawns, chicken, and egg in a sweet-savory-sour sauce and peanuts.

Specialty Entree:

  • Sambal, a kind of chili sauce with red chili, garlic, shallot, and lime. Meat options include chicken, fish, and shrimp, as well as tofu.
  • Rendang, a meat dish served with coconut, lemongrass, and aromatic spices.

The eatery offers online ordering as well.
